Colony Financial SCHEDULES FOURTH QUARTER 2009 earnings release AND conference call

Los Angeles, CA, February 23, 2010/Business Wire/ - Colony Financial, Inc. (NYSE: CLNY) (the "Company") today announced it will release fourth quarter 2009 results after the market close on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. The Company will conduct a conference call to discuss the results at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 11, 2010.

To participate in the event by telephone, please dial (877) 941-8418 five to 10 minutes prior to the start time (to allow time for registration) and use conference ID 4244570. International callers should dial (480) 629-9809.
